Thread: Masamune World Empty - No Players

It started around Dec 23rd. Noticed every camp and region was lacking player activity. I thought it was maybe the holidays but its Dec 27 and its still the same.

I've spoken to a few players and they have no idea what is going on either. Masamune world used to ALWAYS been packed with players. Now there's not even enough to complete a high level fate in Coerthas or Ceruleum.

Anyone know what is going on!!!???

What????!!!! I don't even....not sure if we are playing on the same world....it's overflowing with people...be it in big cities, major FATE outposts, Beast Tribe areas, it's overflowing with people.

But one thing for sure: FATE groups are much less people now: Duty Roulette + Party Finder + EXP Buff to dungeons + Dailies to complete, make FATE much less popular. Before 2.1 I was in FATE trains too, but ever since 2.1 I haven't even did a single one. There's just too many things to do every day, if you are only able to play 2-3 hours per day, pretty much there's no much time left after you finished your dailies.

So, if you are talking about FATE group specifically, yes, should be much less people now (don't know I haven't even need to do one since 2.1).

If you're basing your statement on FATE areas, then yes, there's almost low to no people at all, since Duty Roulette offers a another option for players to level up and not just by burning out yourself thru FATEs.

Maybe you just play between the JP and NA times. I have to admit at that gap Masamune seem to be a ghost server. But with the majority of the community being NA/JP players it´s no wonder. ^^

All interesting replies. I am playing at all times of the day, the same as i have for the past 3 months.

ALL CITIES and regions are ghost town empty, not just FATES.

I am not imagining this lol. I have been talking to a handful of other US players on Masamune experiencing the exact same thing.

For example, it is currently afternoon in Japan as we speak and i can count with one hand the amount of players in Ceruleum Processing Plant waiting for the next FATE to appear.

The people Ive spoken to including myself have are experiencing the same in Corthas...and everywhere else.

Less than a week ago this was far from the case. Coerthas, Ceruleum, Costa del Sol. All PACKED with players.

Makes me wonder if it has anything to do with the update that started incorporating the data center selections, granted to play my player i can't chose a different data center to begin with.

Still puzzled.

You are naming fate centers. Fate groups just aren't as common now since the 2.1 patch...

go to any major city at 7pm server time (+9 GMT) and you'll see just how dead this server isn't. fate have gone the way of the dinosaurs as duties offer so much more exp and can be done alone (classing solo quing in duty finder as alone here) with little to no effort for the same if not more exp, that's why fate area are baron
