just heard they were adding a veteran reward that will give us minions based on what GC we are in, but was completely disappointed when i learned Ul'dah would be getting that big guy instead of the sultana, seriously does SE want everyone to switch to Gridania or somthing?

The big guy is awesome. A mini version of that beast walking with you. GG

They should give you the sultana as a minion and the big guy as a mount for lalafell instead.

sounds like the actual items you get are "minion of light" and "wind up leader" that have various effects when used so no worries about what you get

and technically the leaders are a highlander, a sea wolf, and a padjal so none of them are terribly similar race-wise
