People who bot will use 3rd party software and hardware to input keystrokes: they won't use macros at all. That only limit players.
At least he did a search.. not like that 6th new MSQ roulette cutscene thread..
Bumping old topics is better than making new ones.

Bumping old topics is fine in a vacuum.
Bumping old topics to say "Hey, this is still a thing!" is fine.
Bumping old topics to provide a rebuttal or additional commentary to a post 6 years old is dumb.
The comment informing someone about <wait.X> is cool and all until you realize that <wait.X> was added in 2015, 2 long years after the thread had been dead.
While I agree that the core concept of the thread is still technically relevant, these new posts were not useful. If history is any indication, this is likely the case of someone doing a google search, getting led to this thread, and not looking at the timestamp before posting. I would argue that, in this case, making a new thread would've been more useful than jamming it on the end of a 6-year-old thread that contains outdated info.

Accept I didnt originally bump the thread, the person above me did, and I didnt catch they necro bumped.
I simply looked at recent threads.
But yeah, my reply doesnt apply anymore.
but for those who stumble upon this necroed thread, the corrected bit of info does help, so they dont get confused about old info. I'll update my post to mention this.
Completely agree, 15 lines in a macro is challenging as you get to higher level. Would love to be able to chain up to 1 additional macro or have up to 25 or 30 macro lines
Being crafting a lot recently, yeah... it sucks. I get why - and in theory they are right! BUT... those who wanna cheat are using bots or clients that just loop their macro - or programm macros by software or keyboards. if anything, at least double it to 30 lines.
