I'm sure this is going to seem like a silly question, but why are you posting a screenie of your summed dps against all three targets in the fight, as opposed to your overall dps during the fight?

412.05 is certainly very neat against a burst target like the Heart, and 273.75 is good against the main body. Why post a number that doesn't mean anything like 711.81? oo;

Logrep includes Garuda in your DPS AND shows Garuda DPS. You just added 150 dps for no reason.

You can easily see this by clicking "all"

The only time this is not true is if there are two summoners in group. It will combine the Garuda into one entity and not add it to your attacks.

i just looked into that kantern, i did not see garuda under the "All" log. Also there was only 1 SMN in group. as of why i added the overall together just seems easyier then to break it down for what it was. But thank you for doin it for me and we will go from there.

Out dated version? All my parses for past few weeks for coil have Garuda-Egi listed as an attack under "All", instead of "Total". The exact DPS listed under the attack is the same DPS she shows up for as the entity.

First, you should probably learn how to interpret logrep parse data. DPS values of 700 or such are impossible. What logrep does is sum your DPS values for all targets, which creates a nonsensical value.

At a glance in your parse, I can say that your DPS (Garuda included) is more around 250 DPS or so. That is actually very good performance for Titan.

To actually evaluate your DPS, you should take the total damage you did versus Titan only, and divide it by your DPS value versus Titan only. This will give you the duration of the instance, since it basically begins when you first hit Titan until when Titan dies. It's typically the most accurate.

Once you have the duration, in seconds, take the total damage you did overall (which is accurate, unlike total DPS) and take the total damage that your Garuda Egi did, sum them up, and then divide that total value by the duration you evaluated.

This should give you your DPS for the instance.

As an example, here's a Titan parse I saved at some point. For the below parse, I evaluated my DPS for the instance as being 240.7 DPS.

Just read the above posts in greater detail. Since I don't typically play and parse SMN, I didn't know logrep added it to your values if only 1 smn present.

That explains why I got 270 DPS for you + garuda egi total. Also, when i evaluate the instance time in how I mentioned above I get 474.75 seconds, which is roughly just under 8 minutes. Your logrep shows 9 minutes... so this is somehow inaccurate for some reason. Hasn't happened before. Overall might be a DoT based DPS thing, since parsers have the most inaccuracy associated with DoTs.


Also, as a final note - we shouldn't use outdated parses as valid entries if you really want to do this lol. The more outdated the parser is, the more inaccurate it is.

i agree with you noctis, i am have updated my parser just waiting on another random pug titan run to get some more accurate stats to current parsers.
