    Things I feel need addressed. Mostly about paladins.

    There are a few things in the game that kinda could use some fixing at least imo.

    1: Paladins threat generation needs to be upped, Shield Oath needs to be lowered to level 30 (same lv warrior gets their tank stance) and sword oath can be upped to 40.
    Paladins generates much less threat than warriors mostly because warriors hit harder as a whole, the pld skills could use some adjustment so they generate a tad more threat, especally flash and provoke.

    2: Provoke.. Am I the only one who finds this useless? When I use it properly (which is when someone else has threat) it sets me back at the top of the list, however, it doesn't seem to add any threat itself, so the very next dot tick, or hit from whoever had threat just pulls it right off again. Easy solution is just add a medium to high amount of threat on provoke. Because as it is I find it pretty useless.

    3: GCD the gcd really needs to be lowered to 1.5s or 2s.

    These are just 3 things I feel could use some tweaks.

    There is also the issue with cooking and how annoying stuff is to make for how unnoticable the buffs they give are. I mean when I use food the only change I ever notice is the vit, the other stats seem to not make any diffrence at all, probally because the values are far to small, They need to be doubled or triped at least with food recipies made simpler because my goddess 5 sub combines to make 1 dish is a little rediclous especally considering it only makes ONE.

    1. I feel like Flash could be reworked, Overpower just absolutely peels hate off Flash. & I like PLDs getting Shield Oath sooner.

    2. Shield Lob, or Halone right after it goes off. You're doing it wrong.

    3. No thank you.


    The only reason you only notice the VIT buff is because you can directly see its outcome, it's all around a 5% or lower increase in stats for food. 5% adds up over time, not all at once. 5% more critical chance doesn't suddenly mean you're going to get a critical every other attack now.

    Provoke is VERY useful as it is for when you have two tanks that need to swap positions on things like turn 2 or Titan Extreme, or to get hate back if you've just been raised. The purpose is to snag hate when someone else has immensely more, not to help you keep hate once you have it. That's what the other stuff is for.

    I do agree on swapping the levels where you get shield and sword oath. Qarn was always a pain to keep hate as a paladin, as that's when a lot of the DDs get more tools to steal hate, and you get jack to keep it.

    The combat is nice...its not slow and its not boring. You want slow and boring go play EQ1 and I am glad the combat is not like these action games coming out lately....

    1. Flash is fine until you get shield oath, you just need to rotate your combo through the mobs you are tanking and watch your threat meters. This gives you something to do and actually work for instead of just standing there and being a HP sponge.

    2. Provoke is amazing, learn to use it the right way. You have to chain another ability with it so you stay up on the threat list.

    About the only thing I agree with is the fact that flash is a bit underpowered.

    Outside of that, I can't really get on board with anything you're saying. Provoke is very useful in the right circumstances.

    As far as threat generation, outside of when I was lvl 16-22, I've never had a problem keeping threat up, and the GCD is fine in my opinion.


    As far as food, the buffs are what they are. People are already breezing through lvl 1-50 and there are plenty of people who are knocking down Coil without increased buffs. Why nerf an already pretty easy game?

    Getting shield oath first would be nice. That point I agree on. If you are dual tanking with a Warrior and WAR is burning overpower, they fail as WAR. If you mean the ping-pong that goes on between tanks in CT? That's just an epeen thing and they need to keep it in their pants.

    As others stated, provoke then a high enmity ability. NOT like some say shield throw then provoke, thats a waste. Provoke takes you one point over the highest enmity. Say WHM has 100 enmity, you have 10. shield throw adds 30. So with shield throw you have 10+30=40, then provoke takes you 101. whereas Provoke first takes you to 101 then shield throw to 131. (These numbers aren't accurate descriptions they are just simplified for examples).

    As tank It can be frustrating sometimes waiting for the GCD to end. Wouldn't object to a 15 sec combat buff that increases GCD for the initial hate build up. Also if they changed GCD to 1.5-2secs they would have overhaul every skill and rebalance them for the new GCD. As DPS would, obviously, be much higher.

    Provoke and at lvl50 do you not get that Scorne ability? That in itself should hold agro at least from what i have seen from running with PLD's
