Behemoth FATE problem

Thankyou for the guys defending my OP lol.. seriously i had second thoughts about posting a legitimate non QQ complaint on here cos of all these fools that seem to appear..

I did read someone say i would have had to tag behemoth to get onto his hate chart, i did however do this as i <tt> casted virus on him.. and this wouldnt make sense anyway cos to get on any other mobs hate chart all you have to do is heal..

it's a shame really.. maybe next time i will succor spam while standing on the bodies of all the dead blizzard II faters lol

ps. No not everyone in the party gets the same reward to the people who replied with that too.. the tank got silver

I've had this problem as well. I'm pretty sure you have to tag the enemy at least once to get something. Because it can be tricky to actually hit him, you might have to try a few times just to be sure.

What I learned from the OP - FATES are bad because he didn't get Gold Rating on Behemoth Fate. OK.

He's not complaining about FATEs in general, He's complaining about the mechanics(Or specifically, the reward scale) of a single FATE, in this case Behemoth (and by extent Odin really), being designed so poorly that by performing your job (notoriously for healers) you are rarely rewarded because the bars are set so high your only chance of getting a Bronze/Silver is to spam DoTs or AoE cures. It's pretty bad, and has been the center of many complaints since Behemoth fight itself is a large pile of being one-shotted by invisible attacks, so much so that getting even a silver is feat in itself unless you're on very particular jobs.
