Ill, I don't feel like we left you behind, we've been doing coil for about 2 months, and you just got relic+ 1 about a week ago. But I do agree that the lock out sucks.

I am also making this post on behalf of our FC leader:

Heya Ill, can't post this on my own for various reasons, but I do still read the forums.

As Leader of the FC I'm just going to start off saying I apologize that we can't accommodate for everyone when it comes to Coil. You are correct in pointing out that coil is designed in contradiction to what FC's and LS's stand for. That's part of what makes them so difficult to manage and accomplish.
I will also point out that while our LS does have 80+ members, only about 18-22 people can be considered 'coil ready', and only 12-16 can be considered active during primetime hours. That's 2 coil groups plus a little runover. One group formed around a circle of friends who played well together, my group formed out of necessity. There were several of our members who decided to find their own statics, and that's fine as well.

When it comes to choosing who goes, we want to pick people whom we know are available, are well geared, and know what they're doing. It's possible that people who fit all those categories are left out. That's something I had a really hard time coming to terms with as Lead. I hate it, it sucks, it goes against my personal mandate of helping others. I don't want to leave people out but it's by game design. If we decide to start coil on Monday and get to turn 4, whoever is not there will either have to skip to turn 4, missing out on all the drops from 1 and 2, or form/join another group to get up to turn 4.

So I'm not surprised in the slightest that you switched to a new FC. As the game stands at the moment, FC's and LS's are simply tools for social interaction in the game. If you're not getting what you want out of a group, you find another. It's unfortunate, but you do what you gotta if you want to play Coil.
