    UI QoL from other games

The purpose of this thread is to introduce a small UI mechanic that would provide a small and intuitive quality of life change for Combo-based classes.

Aion used a combo system that replaced each ability with the next in the line.

I believe a similar, modular system would be very welcome here, and would free up a fair amount of hotkeys and bar slots.

[Slot1] - [Slot2] - [Slot 3]. Using an ability advances the 'combo' slot, advancing again when activated or resetting after an adjustable time (or not at all, if such would be the case.)

A modular system would allow it be used by anyone, combo users and spell casters alike, though some may have little use for it. The primary purpose of which is an intuitive flow of one ability into the next while not cluttering valuable hotkeys. Given the way the armory systems works, we can only assume cross classable abilities will eventually be added and add even more keys to keep track of.

So the problem with this is mid-combo switching or prepping for tanks. For instance, if I am on WAR and I start my HS>Maim>SE combo, but after Main I see I am dangerously close to losing aggro, then I need to back to HS to do SS>BB.

Additionally, if I am on PLD and I am waiting for a split on T1 to take a mob, or switching in T2, I am hitting FB>SB>FB>SB and waiting for the triggering mechanic to hit RoH.

However, I DO do something similar to this on my WAR on Playstation3 - I have most of my xhotbar the same (the 3 most left ability clusters) but on my right one, I switch it so that I always have Heavy Swing on X, but in HB1 I have Maim, Sunder, Overpower, and on HB2 I have Storms Eye, Storms Path, Butcher's. That way my other buttons never change, but my main attacks use the same slots as their predecessors/successors.
