Crossbar & Hotbar

I was watching the Letter from the Producer and I noticed when they were showing stuff in game they had both a Crossbar and a hotbar displayed. Is that just something you can enable on PC's or can I get it on my PS3?

This is a bit late but if you see this, unfortunately this is a feature that is only available on the PC and (when it is released) the PS4 versions.

Gah that's so frustrating. I just want easy access to my mount and potions without having them on my actual crossbar.

Unfortunatly you can't access the actions on the hotbar with the controller, you have to pick your mouse or use the virtual one.

I use this hotbar to keep sight of longer cooldown actions which are on crossbar #2 or see when a skill embeded in a macro is up.

Gah that's so frustrating. I just want easy access to my mount and potions without having them on my actual crossbar.

What I did was remove all crossbars from the R1 rotation except for bars 1 and 2 as I am fine with handling 2 sets of bars. Then I set bar 4 to be shared.

I then put mounts/sprint/limit break/repair/chocobo commands on Bar 4 which is R1+Square. It took me a day or two to get used to it but it really is invaluable as it saves a lot of space. You can change the bar to whichever button combination is easiest for you to remember.

I don't use the horizontal or vertical bars for anything except for displaying skills that are not on my first crossbar set so I can see their recast times.
