Final Fantasy 14 ARR Stopped Working

Windows says FFXIV stopped working and closes it randomly for me since the game released. I've gone to great lengths to troubleshoot this in so many ways. Please help end my months of torture.

My troubleshooting quoted from my 9-29-13 post:
In game setting changes like resolution, full screen, windowed, no player names, other pc player actions removed, all video settings as low as possible.
Software trouble-shooting like firewalls off, anti-virus off, startup programs all off, all drivers possible up-to-date, re-installed FFXIV three weeks ago, re-installed FFXIV yesterday with firewalls/anti-virus off, Virus/malicious/spyware scans ran, run launcher in admin mode.
Hardware trouble-shooting like running Memcheck86 to make sure memory was good, re-sitting memory sticks, made sure power supply was ample enough for computer system, ran dozens of tests on temperatures everything peaks lower than 55C except video card which doesn't peak higher than 66C.

Since then I've tried 30+ drivers all clean reinstalled, dx 9 test/10 test/11 clean reinstalled, made sure cpu was not overclocked, installed some drivers without any geforce experience or other applications, formatted system and reinstalled windows 7 (64), went to watercooling in my tower with gpu temp lower than 36c and cpu temp lower than 25C both when playing ffxiv, ran FurMark to stress test my gpu with flying colors, constantly updating my asus MB drivers including BIOS, rolled back display driver.

There seems to be a few more things I've tested, but they are not coming to mind since it's been a few months ago.

It definitely has something to do with faulting module name, nvd3dum.dll.

Nicely compiled information and thread; too bad SE will ignore it.

I don't mind them ignoring it. It would be nice if super techie would look into this for solutions.

did you try posting this on nvidia forum too? nvd3dum.dll is a nvidia driver module.

think that was the update manager... have you tried doing a custom install, and deselecting the extras. Used to have to do that years ago when they were having the recurring problems with the control panel (installed just the drivers, no nVidia control panel, and used something like RivaTune to config the card).

I have definitely done that from a clean uninstall.
