    I don't disagree entirely, but It can be done in AK/I.lv55 Weapon, which is probably the bare minimum. For Titan the biggest thing Is dodging (and heart phase, which can be sped up by a Melee LB3)... Having better gear only decreases the room for error. However if he's doing straight Duty Finder/PUG, He'll probably want some Darklight and an Ifrit/Garuda weapon for sure. Simply because it'll make the fight easier on them.

    As for the HP thing, It depends on your healer. Personally my SMN didn't have a lot of HP, but my healers new the drill and I never died from stomps I had under 3k If i recall but its been a while since i logged on so i couldn't even check :|

    Either way, Playing it safe? Some Darklight/AK mix and a I.lv60-70 Weapon. Doing it with friends and you guys got a brain? AK/I.lv55 bare minimum.

    You can do it with bikini and AK/DL accesorries just fine if you want. All this ppl saying you need 3k+ hp or 380+ stat dont know what that are talking. Is just a matter of can you dodge or not and healer have to be on your toes and tank have to do his part of dodging bombs too.

    I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.

    ^This and make sure you are not wearing garbage accessories. Average out your iLevel to about i55-i60 is easy enough to do.

    For those that don't know how to average out their iLevel. Here's some basic math:
    Add all iLevels from gear together and divide the sum with the number of armors/weapon.

    (iLevel sum) / 12 or 13 (depending on gear) = iLevel average.

    Sorry if this was asked elsewhere I skimmed a few pages but I didn't see it >w<;
    It's been said before, but full AK gear with Ifrit/Garuda weapon is sufficient. 3.2k pre-food is about the minimum for HP, but no items below iLvl 60.

    I've beaten Titan with 3k HP flat as Brd and Blm and 3.1k HP as whm and could most likely had managed with less; this does not change for any job except tank as they all will be taking the same amount of damage. The mages do a bit more resistance but it shouldn't change things all that much. However, I did have competent healers who were able to pre-cast heals and I was able to avoid every attack besides tamult. The only other thing you need gear-wise, is enough dps to get past heart phase.

    Point is, as long as you know the fight well, have a competent group, and/or have a group with gear to make up for yours, you don't really need all that much. However, the chances of you meeting these conditions are probably not very high.
