Voice Chat?

I would like a ffxiv plugin to teamspeak or ventrillo so when your party members speak their names flash or somthing.

There overlay for TS that does that lol issue is now with ps3 is Sony coming with a new system so is xbox and there a new wii releaseing next year. I hope that sony at least try to add TS/vent to ps3 if not at least for the ps4 and maybe ffxiv would be on that system also.

I had enough of you i guess you don't understand the JP GM if you /check a JP more then 2times they would call a GM on you. They even telll you saying /check no thanks Gm do you need it? just because you never hear it before does not mean i'm lieing so i had a enough with this talk you a hard headed person.

There is absolutely no reason this should not be done. It works great in LOTRO and I think DDO? You don't want to hear someone you mute them. You don't want someone to listen to you, you don't party with them. You don't want to talk, you say your mic is broken.

It's awesome.

Also, I don't see how on earth it would be complicated to have voice chat going from a ps3(which has different software/coding than the pc version(I'm sure) to the server and then having pc version go to the server and then communicate.

The more moving parts at this point, the worse. So, at least for a good while, this will be the reason why.
In 5-6 months, maybe.

But server/software worries are the last thing we need at the moment.
I know personally I would just not use the voice chat channels, but that's no reason the others who want them shouldn't have the option to.
