I apologize if any of this has been suggested before; I have only been playing this game for a few days. I also apologize if my suggestion seem too "WoW/EQ2/RoM"ish. I did play FFXI before I played those, but my UI preferences slowly became skewed towards those MMOs.

The UI response time is slow. I don't ever remember it being this slow in FFXI. And I don't think it is my connection or my PC. Everything just seems to take a quarter to a half a second longer than you would expect. Because of that, I have found that I use the controller to move and the keyboard to fire off my actions from the action bars, which is kind of a bummer because the stamina bar only shows the skill you have selected, not the one you just fired off. I don't have much in the way of a suggestion other than "OMG makes itz goez faster plz!".

I also can't tell if I have an action queued up or not. If I hit the "Light Attack" button followed by the "Cure" button. , I find myself wondering "Will cure go off?". I have no idea. If there is no queuing, it would be nice if the action bar buttons were grayed out when they cannot be cast ala RoM. If there is queuing, I would love to have the EQ2 functionality where that action bar button blinks so that you know that it is coming next.

I noticed that there is either not a series of keyboard shortcuts to open things like the "Point Allotment" screen or the "Journal Screen" and so on. If there isn't, it would be nice if there was. Regardless if it is in there now or will be, can we add the key that needs to be used to the Menu? For instance, the menu would then say "Journal (J)" or "Inventory (I)".

I like that I can target NPCs with my mouse, but could we get a setting to allow us to enable the ability to click-through our character? I find I have to move my character a lot to click NPCs that are standing in front of me.

Sorry if I am not using the proper names here, but when I am assigning my skills/actions/traits to my action bars, I would rather have the currently selected skills be more noticeable. Just changing the skill name to green doesn't seem to be cutting it. Hiding the unusable skills would be fantastic, as well as sorting by name, cost, etc.
The ability to move an action from one action bar slot to another slot without first searching for the skill so that could reassign it to the new slot would be great. It would be great also if your skill selection persisted between classes, but I will save that for another thread.

If the action bar button could darken or gray out when the target was not in range would be great.

Thanks for making an official forum. If nothing else, at least I feel like any suggestions I have might be heard by a dev, which is nice to know.
