And you still have the harassment issue not the NA,EU,DU but the JP is the issue when it come to harassment. Don't know about you guys but i got a /tell from a JP for /check and he would call a GM on him. I also saw many players getting ban for 73hours for /check a JP i talk to a few jp who knew ENG and he said some find that harassment.

Are you joking? go read the interview am not talking out of my bum it's facts from SE interviews. Just because you don't remember or never read it or can't understand it does not mean am wrong. I play FFXI for 6years and i know lot's of issue with harassment maybe it never happen to you in your world or never read a story about it but reason there no Voice chat is due to PS3--PC voice chat issue and harassment problem which is more pointing at the JP players then anything. That what Tanaka said in the interview but who knows what yoshi-p would do maybe he would add it

So please do me a fav go look it up yourself before saying someone is wrong i know what am talking about happen a lot in bahamut and two other world i was in. Voice chat could be added but they need to talk to Sony about it and that be to much work for them at the end it better off. If Sony allow ps3 to use vent,ts and so on.

@Eruantien I think it does but i hear people having issue not 100% sure tho but i think it work because of Steam. I don't have a ps3 so i never test PS3--> PC only PC->PC

People did not get banned for using the /check function. I also played on Bahamut for 5 years and never once heard of this.

Well I know DCUO isn't cross platform (the thing that bummed me out about playing it after a while, but pc version of it sucks anyway), I think if down the road they do add "ps3/pc voice chat" to FFXIV they should do it how DCUO does it, theres a general voice chat, which idc about, then theres a guild voice chat, which the leader sets access to who has permission to talk on the voice chat, and everyone in the guild can listen. apply this to ls, you have permission set up by shell leader, and sack holders and have everyone listen in.

the issue is that it's hard to make voice chat work PC--> PS3 they need a lot of help from sony. Which it be to much money lost just to add voice chat everyone going to use vent,TS anyways and not even care to use the ingame system. Due to it not having lot's of things like TS,vent.

That why i say Sony should make something that you could use Vent,TS on your PS3 while gaming i think this would be nice.

The argument between Vahzl and Zenaku aside, it makes sense why they wouldn't implement it. Third party voice programs are better anyway.

I would like a ffxiv plugin to teamspeak or ventrillo so when your party members speak their names flash or somthing.

There overlay for TS that does that lol issue is now with ps3 is Sony coming with a new system so is xbox and there a new wii releaseing next year. I hope that sony at least try to add TS/vent to ps3 if not at least for the ps4 and maybe ffxiv would be on that system also.
