Repelling shot not working

Anyoine have any idea why repelling shot is always grayed out in my archer bar?

Are you close enough to the target? I believe you need to be within a certain distance to your target in order for it to work.

hugging it... in fact I cant even find it under my action book anymore... maybe because Im using lightning's bow?

There's a bug that adds "quest" skills to your bar even though you haven't earned them by completing the quest yet.

Is it a 1.0 char only?
I had this on my 1.0 char couse it was lvl 50, but i had to do all class/jobb quests for it to work again, even tho i had icon on hotbar.

I think it's always done that for 1.0 characters that haven't re-done their class quests, but it has been happening to new 2.0 characters as well for the last few patches.
When you level, it automatically adds a greyed out skill to your hotbar even though the skill isn't listed if you bring up your actions list. If you remove it from your hotbar, you can't get it back until you complete the class quest.
Not sure if it's a bug or if they do it to let you know there's a class quest available that gives you a skill.
