Well maybe it's because some people told him to stop being all light-hearted in his letters. They wanted facts and nothing else and it got to him. I'm pretty sure the endless whining and complaining about the work they've done doesn't help either. This community cannot and will probably never appreciate anything the dev team does, it's disgusting.

In the interviews and letters he seems very optimistic. Belief that he's somehow distraught over the game and its players is nothing but pure speculation with little to no bearing on fact.

I liked his humor, but I don't know how that humor could be taken in other languages the game is out on market. I would also like to see more screenshots or possibly video of upcoming content either in his letters, or shown on lodestone. He and, the newly assigned team has a lot of good ideas, but it has been nearly a year, lets see something.

Well first of all (and a BIG correct me here if i'm wrong) is that he doesn't speak English. So he likely doesn't read the NA forums and rather the community leads gather the relevant and report to him.

I doubt the Japanese are as inconsiderate and "personal". Google translate isn't the most accurate in teh world but it gives me a good impression of their general tone and it's certainly different than ours here.

Yoshi went in knowing what position the game was in. I'm sure he gets to work and works with his team, he doesn't spend hours on the forum with each message bringing him down.

A lot of planning on restructuring for the game.

You know what. Screw it. There is a mass of variables that have impeded progress on the game and if you choose not to validate them in your own viewpoint, that's your prerogative. I'm not going to try and change your mind.
