How quickly we do forget.

Just can't help but wonder how often people experience this.

Running a bit of "lower level" content, CM/WP/AK/anything else that isn't coil. How often do we hear, or say, "Man this is so easy, it should be done before X minutes.", "Man you shouldn't even need 2 healers.", and the like. Never for a moment stopping to realize that the people your with aren't relic/+1 w/ 5+ other pieces of ilevel 90.

Do you remember your very first Garuda HM, did you kill her before the second lap, solo tank, solo heal?
Your first AK, WP or CM, still in AF pieces?

I really only bring this up because it actually frustrates me when I hear it said to people, it can be really off putting to players that don't super outgear the content already.

Had a relic +1 tank do this to me and an FC friend eariler this week. He was stood there with his Ilevel 90 gear and relic +1 calling us all noobs because he can clear WP in less than 12 minutes with his LS. The irony is despite him out geaing my friend and I by quite a bit we both had to hold back or take hate, so he was actually slowing the run down, not speeding it up.

I main tank but I can't count the number of times when I've queued as DPS that a tank that had WAY better gear than me was absolute trash in comparison. I believe two things happen or have happened with most over-geared people: 1. They get lazy and think that their uber gear will carry them. 2. They, disgustingly, got carried to that uber gear.

Some people just have a hard time adjusting from run to run. I usually feel it out and adjust my play style accordingly.

I remember going into AK to complete GC quest just to get a sword and being stuck for the longest time because everyone at that time was relatively under-geared as well, it was a complete and utter nightmare lol but at-least we were all terribly geared at that point so the pointing fingers was kept to a minimum. I'm pretty sure thats all but changed now.

I'm not sure where these crazy expectations come from people though now, especially when they're using DF.
