Pudding Flesh

Ok so I'm level 45 with Alchemist now, and I look at the cost of Pudding Flesh for Mega Potion of Vit for the Leve's.... My Mind was blown. 12k for 1 Pudding Flesh ? That's Coke prices.

Did some research and found that these are only available through leve's and thats IF you get the drop....

What's SE logic for doing this ? We seriously need another option to obtain these.

This has been an ongoing problem, reported many times since near the games release...

It not being fixed yet really shows how much they listen to the community.

On top of adding more mobs that drop this as they did with Fleece and Diremite Webs, I hope they add macro's for potions. Just this minor change would boost use of potion. As it stands now people rarely use potions.

Lanolin to 50.
Observatorium in the Coerthas (level 35) Necro quest. It's the best drop rate I found. In addition you kill Karakul to the guy that drops the flesh. So you get skins for Lanolin.

Worst part is that you actually need it to make a megapotion for one of the quests. Just don't touch the level 45 leves.

Oddly enough, people sell the HQ potion for a lot cheaper than the mats (dependent on server obviously). I just did this quest yesterday, pudding was 9k on the AH, I bought the potion for 1k. lol

You can probably buy the HQ potion for less... because Alchemists that have passed the quest realized the same thing, and buy those pudding fleshes to sell said potions to you as they can easily HQ it with lvl 50 stats.

Yes, it's annoying - especially since you're still leveling crafts and leve allowances are precious. Drop rate isn't particularly high, but every Alch has had to deal with it one way or another so pick your poison.

how stupid is it to have a recipe that requires a drop from a mob that can not be found in the map but only in a leve quest? now lets make that recipe as one of the requirements for your level 45 alchemy quest...was it an oversight? or are the developers a-holes? i say the second option

I hope this is fixed in patch 2.1.

One thing about that level 35 quest mob it spawns your own sheep, kill those for fleece and get money back. Also like someone said you could just buy the potion like I did also

Stay away from the 45 leve's and do lanolin all the way to 50

*Edit* I just remembered I did the Ingenuity leve 1x turn in Sleepless in Slivertear , I had plenty of leves, create Potent Sleeping Potions HQ gives 150k per turn in.
