What ever happened to my companion?

Back in 1.0, I befriended a knightly female Miqo'te who quested along side me and made sexual innuendos toward my female Miqo'te, which I quite enjoyed. She even offered to bed me too, but now she's gone!

Surely she didn't pass away during the Calamity, right? She was my one true love, and I will do anything to get her back. I will go through hell and high water, literally, to find out what happened to her.

Her knight role was a nice compliment to my healing role. We were two peas in a pod. I miss my one, true companion.

I will take on any challenge that stands in my way to save her, as I feel she would do the same for me.

Where are our faithful companions Square Enix?

Perhaps I'm doing it all wrong. Perhaps I should level a tank and find a white mage to protect. I'm pretty good at taking hits to the face without losing a substantial amount of brain cells, so I think I would be good at it.

Pretty much what Storm said - apparently Yoshi didn't think the Path Companions suited ARR's changed storyline and so replaced them from a gameplay perspective with calling your Grand Company chocobo as a fighter companion in battle. But I'd still like my Path Companion back - I miss her.

Miss mine as well. Given that there is a 'Companions' tab, I'm hoping that at some point we'll have them back. Though I do not think the history we had with them thus far will be remembered, sadly. Still, I'll settle for starting that friendship anew, especially if the Female Miqo'te returns with the same demeanor.

Given that L'haminn appeared to be in the recent 2.1 trailer, I'm incline to say our Path Companions will be back... Assuming we ever go to Ala Mhigo, that would be the perfect time to reintroduce them.
