Is it possible to have two FFXIV accounts on the same PS3? and how?

I believe the title says it all...

I may have made a booboo and bought a copy of the game I can't use. My wife has her account linked to my PS3 and I just bought the game for myself on PS3 for $10.00 (PS Plus member discount) and now I can't change her account name to mine to log in.

Yes, once you load up the game you should get a log in... You would then use your information to log into the your profile... If there on the same profile then you have to log into the profile and choose your character at the character select screen... Note that if you pay monthly y ou can only have one account per profile you need at least 3 months to have more than 1 profile I do believe its 8 profiles...

If her PSN account is linked to your Square Enix account then you're kinda screwed as you can only login to the same SE account once on the same server cluster. (NA/EU or JP)

It's the opposite. Her SE account is linked to my PSN account. When I start up the game and try to change the account name it's like locked on hers and I can't find a way to change it.

Personally speaking, I'd contact Sony Entertainment's Live Chat and ask them about it. At the very least if they can't give you an answer, they'll most likely be able to point you to whom ever can.

Or if you're feeling adventurous and don't mind taking the risk, you can try Square-Enix Members > Profile Settings > Linked Accounts for a quick round of readjusting which SE account is linked to which PSN account.

No you have to create another PSN account then log into your account from there, however because you bought it under her name the game is tied to that account. I have a ps3 account as does my room mate another another psn name same ps3
