    Aw, I feel like I'm totally missing out.. I'm new to FFXIV (I've been playing ARR since beta, but never played version 1.0) So can anyone fill me in on this Hildibrand guy, and what he's all about, what he does, what his quests are like etc? <3

    Oh, you. If we tell you then that spoils it all. He's a detective, basically, but really really need to see him for yourself to know what makes him special.

    Haha, seriously though, yeah he is pretty dopey, but that's the attraction - he brought some much needed lightheartedness to what was becoming an increasingly jaundiced setting. Every time he opened his mouth I burst out laughing. Nashu on the other hand though, really was ridiculously dumb, at least Hildy tried to be competent even though he was anything but!

    His quests are absolutely hilarious, I suggest you look up his quest line from 1.0
    Prepare your gut though, you're going to be laughing pretty non-stop.

    I thought everyone knew about Hildibrand, Agent of inquiry, Inspector Extraordinaire I wonder if he got to Dalamud.
