This would be nice. Not asking for a 100% bonus for each class at 50, even add diminishing returns and cap the number of classes. Something to slightly lessen the post-50 gear grind treadmill while also rewarding people for taking the time to level multiple classes. It will also further encourage people to level other classes (which also gets them cross class skills) instead of leveling alts (which give you 100% more myth/week for each alt). Something like this:

1st class = 300 tomes/week
2nd class = 400 tomes/week
3rd class = 475 tomes/week
4th+ class = 500 tomes/week

I don't think such a request is unreasonable especially compared when the relatively small 300/week cap is spread over eight classes. I understand why there is a myth cap bottleneck and I know it is being increased in 2.1 but I don't understand why I feel like I'm being punished for having leveled multiple classes on the same character compared to other players who rolled alts and can now accrue 100%-300% more tomes in the same time frame solely due to the character based weekly caps.

Open it up a smidge, will ya? Just a smidge so I feel like I didn't waste a bunch of time leveling other classes when I should/could have been spent leveling a new character. I mean, one player with two characters, level 50 with bare min level 15 can accrue twice as many tomes per week as someone with eight level 50s on the same character? I'm sorry but that's just redonk.

The entire way to 50 I was encouraged to roll other classes on the same character by getting 50% more xp, cross class skills, etc. so I did! But then, once I got them to 50, it all just stops. No more armory gimmicks, no more clever "do it all, any time!" marketing ploys, ARR becomes just another trickling gear based MMO grind and if you want to get anywhere at a decent clip you need to ignore the armory system and play ARR just like any other MMO at max level (i.e. spend almost all of your time min/max one class on one character).

I'm not asking for welfare tomes or handouts. Before you accuse me of being lazy, please recall that I am a non-legacy player that has ground 204 dungeons and 2,451 fates and will be level 50 on all combat for the foreseeable future. How about you?

When I think about it, the leveling grind I just finished seems paltry compared to the post-50 gear grind I have waiting for me. That's why all I am asking for is a little smidge. The crown and title are nice but it is purely cosmetic and I feel if I could do it again I wouldn't pay attention to the armory, I would chose to level two or three different characters and spread the classes over them instead. In doing so I would be 300k-600k gil richer and be able to farm 2-3x the amount of tomes per week.

What's that say about the armory system when players regret maximizing its use and wish they would have rolled old fashioned new character alts instead? And what does it say that by doing so a player speeds up capped endgame currency acquisition somewhere between half to a third in exchange for a couple extra weeks of fate grinding to make up for the lack of 50% alt-class bonus?
