leveling in ffxiv now

been gone a bit, in coerthas and its...empty!? So without fates to level how do people do it? Leves give terrible exp as do dungeons beyond the first level when you get chain.

There's always been people around on my server doing FATEs in Coerthas. Not sure what to tell you though. When the patch hits xp from all sources are going to be raised one way or another though. (leves and guildhests will take advantage of armory bonus, dungeons being increased by 150%, Duty Roulette gives bonus XP for dungeons on top of the already increased 150%)

Dungeon XP is getting boosted. But you should be able to find an 8 man group in most areas to FATE grind.

Depends on the server I guess. Gilgamesh still has a lot of people in all the fate grinding spots.

You went to the wrong area, coerthas isn't popular area for fate any more. Lvl to 50, you pretty much only need go two areas. Coerthas isn't one of them.

Probably Mor Dhona and Northern Thanalan. However, Coerthas has bonus fates due to the Lightning event, as does Mor Dhona. Once that event ends that's a ton of exp you will miss out on. They add several new fates to those zones. Northern Thanalan doesn't benefit from this event.
