And really Ifrit's only as pathetic as he is because Radiant Shield is trash. Replace that with some type of burn ability based on DoTs on the target (similar to fester). Hey look, interaction between the summoner. Done.

I've got issues with the class's flavor but the class's balance issues are mild at worst.

Eh, personally Athena's suggestion more, because garuda so far has always been more viable then Ifrit and the radiant shield change wouldn't make it all that more viable. However, I do agree that the egi's could be miniaturized versions of themselves. Like in extreme mode, we see titan summon mini-titans. IMO, egi's would be more visually appealing in said way.

No he doesn't. He summons bigger versions of the Egi's. They just have Titan's color instead of the gold/orange of the Egi.

Leave SMN as is and just make Beastmaster the...well master of beasts.
