Those are Philo tomes. You can tell by the image. Tomes of Philo have 1 blue glowing stripe. Mytho have 2 glowing stripes.

Think of Tomes as Allagan USB drives. And the more important ones light up in gradually more lines up to 4. (They practically are external HDD or USB drives if you pay attention to the lore...)

... I never noticed that about the tomestones, but if you look at the picture, there are 2 blue lines on it. Those are myth tomes.

I think it's funny that people felt the need to talk about how unimportant, boring and easy tanking is inside a thread about bonus rewards for in demand classes...specifically tanks. Hate much?

Well that doesn't seem like much of a bonus, since you can basically just craft something and make like 30k in 20 sec of work.

750 Gil generated out of nowhere. your 30k is money that already exists and justs changes the owner. And you actually take at least 1500 Gil out of economy by selling it through the market boards.

Hey guys! If you aren't tired of tanks continually withdrawing from duty till they get an in progress run for tomes, just wait till they're doing it for tomes and 50k gil!

Tanks get instant invites. This is their reward for playing a tank (and rightly so, it's more stressful than DD). I know whenever I need tomes I can switch to WAR and get insta-party and get my tomes twice as fast as I could on DD.

What happens to the Duty Roulette from level 16 to 50. It don't seem there is anything for those.

The reward is not tank specific. It is for any in demand role.

If, however, you are referring to the laughable 50k that the OP wants just for being a tank, then I am with you all the way.

I think it's mainly the fact that Tanks will always be in demand, so when would a DPS ever be in demand for a duty roulette? it'd just say Tank, Tank, Tank everytime.
