mobile boss battle is mobile.
seriously, has any HM battle ever been handled that poorly? the devs can't show off mechanics when the boss is being faced to the wall. ;P
PvP, Treasure Hunting, and Beastman Dailies had me pleasently surprised, they look pretty great actually, especially the supposed customization of PvP skills
Housing looks absolutely amazing, beautiful areas and music, and love all the things you can do.
Barber Shop looks pretty unique and not just some menu action xD
Crystal Tower looks phenomenal
Extreme Mode primals, look fun and challenging as crap
Duty Roulette gives me even more incentive to visit the early dungeons![]()
Pharos, Haukke, and cooperbell look like the best things there though, tons of fun, and great music and atmosphere![]()
I knew Nero would be back.
LOL @ at his Clark Kent-ish disguise.
If he hadnt been so easy to hate in the main storyline, I'd draw a paralell between Nero and Char Aznable (iconic red armor, and now hiding in plain sight probably among the "good guys", and maybe eventually we take on him again in Nero's Counterattack, followed by my lalafell trying to stop a colony from falling on Hydaelyn).
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
SE is so good at making trailers like this one. Really nice, I just wish I cared about anything that is actually in it. CT with loot that is useless, rehashed content but harder this time, housing that is not private, daily quests as if there wasn't already enough grinding of the same limited content already, pvp that should not have been shown in any way before it was introduced because it looks so bad and so on and so forth. At least it seems they made one thing to make use of the atm useless but beautiful world with the treasure hunting, depending on what the rewards are of course, scenario quests and Hildebrand are also nice additions.
In the end though I guess it is just the core concepts that keeps me from getting excited, I think I would have come back with a patch like this if the world was used for actual content outside of lvling/gathering, the world actually had some areas that felt like I was exploring instead of having a camp a 30 sec run away, if the world was big and you never knew what to expect when exploring, if you couldn't just teleport and be anywhere in the world in a matter of a minute or two, if going to an instance meant going to an instance and not stand in Revenants Toll teleporting into it, having an only tiered progression system which is bad enough in itself, but also it has items added that goes backwards (CT) in the chain motivated by "do it for the vanity system" when it isn't even in the game. Meh SE I really wish you had made a next gen mmo like EQN and probably Titan and not something that feels old and outdated already at release (although I understand why you did it this way).
I am sorry to ruin anyones excitement I don't really mean to I am happy you can enjoy the game, but I can't help but feel dissapointment and sadness because I love the FF world/stories and therefore I want to like the game so bad. I even feel like if they had decided to not go SO hard in the direction they have and cater to a certain group of people, and instead at least tried find a middle ground I could have really enjoyed the game, but the attitude they have and the direction has just turned me and all my friends away completely which sucks.
Within only 1 week? Highly unlikely.
People say corsair because....
Yes, Musketeer in this game, but the outfit from a far resembles Corsair. No point in correcting since for all anyone knows, they may borrow the Corsair storyline from XI for enemy 'Musketeers', since it's simply another term for Pirate.
