Not feeling very hyped about the new video. I'm more like taking a wait and see approach with this one.

Titan Extreme just looks like an utter nightmare for those of us not living on the same continent as the servers. As it stands with Titan HM already, I got knocked off the other day after dodging a land slide area, had time to attack once, and then was half-way through the 2nd attack animation when I went flying off the edge, IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION to the landslide, and the in-game server ping time spikes to 2500-3500ms (despite for me my IP network ping to the server remaining steady at ~330ms at all times).
Now, if we're already dealing with that kind of BS, then extreme mode is just going to be both unplayable and unenjoyable with any form of server load and/or network latency caused by distance.

Must say, I'm extremely excited for Beast Quests and Treasure Hunts now, much more interesting than I thought they'd look. Expected Sylph/Goblin though, since those are the Minions we're missing. Really glad I'll have something to do on a daily basis other than running between Unspoiled Nodes. :3
One thing I am disappointed with though... Haukke Manor Hard has Toto-Rak music.When I heard the Hard Mode Dungeons would have their music playing properly, I was really excited for Haukke Manor, because it had really great intro mucis. ;;

am I the only one who noticed the guy in the tan alchemist outfit with the mask looks an awfully lot like Nero ;x and one of the bosses in Crystal Towers had Atomoses summoning void sent

Nope I saw that too, then omitted in my notes due to spoiler reasons lol.
You should have bought an authenticator.....
Your tears feed me....

Spoiler alert: it is. Remember he escaped and chances are there's no return to the Empire considering he lost, the Ascians are his last hope for revenge against us and Cid.

Wow alot more stuff than I realized. And I am very excited for the new story quests. I wasn't expecting that at all!
I wonder if the classes/jobs will have thier own continued story/ quests?
Either way I am pleased!

Titan extreme is probably going to tide me over until the next patch. If it is as good as advertised, then I guess I have a reason to stay subbed for the next 6 months.

That's all I needed.
Stone Vigil is a great dungeon with interesting bosses and overall design.yep god forbid you played something for fun instead of phat lewt right ?
Haukke Manor (normal one) is fun, too.
Darkhold drops BDSM gear you might want to keep for laughs.
How many times have you seen people in Mor Dhona shouting for groups to do those dungeons "for fun", or how many times have you visited them yourself at level 50, not counting low-level friends asking for help? Once? Never?
You see, FFXIV is not a sandbox. It's a theme-park MMO with a gear grind treadmill. Unless players get rewards that help them grow/progress in some way, most of the time they won't bother with that content at all.
I know I will visit every new 4-man dungeon once to see the fights. Not sure about more, since I don't really need ilvl 60 loot atm and vanity system isn't due for another couple of months (if the skins are worth it anyway). Same with King Mog - why would I need a weapon I won't be using because it's inferior to relic?
Bottom line is, I kinda envy any players that bought FFXIV just now. They will have *something* to do, as opposed to anyone who's been playing from September - they will be done with that "amazing" 2.1 content within a week.
