Here's why I am excited for 2.1:

1. I get to run dungeons with friends for more EXP now! yay
2. I already mastered Titan HM so extreme modes are going to be awesome
3. More ways and loots to gear my other class/jobs
4. My group is working on T5 but will have a lot of stuff to do in between (we raid only twice a week)
5. Aesthetician for vanity coolness!
6. Going to do CT with my Coil Group
7. New crafting recipes!
8. Treasure hunts, dailies and oh my!

Incorrect. There is no information that the new weapon is an "upgrade" to +1. All we know it's an ilvl90 weapon (same as +1). Alternative stats, meaning it'll be better for certain classes but not others.

It's in one of the Q&As. Where Yoshi officially says you upgrade your relic from +1 to +2 (or whatever it will be called) by beating all primal ex modes. Making it the best weapon in the game with the new content.

You need the +1 to upgrade after the Extreme Primals

Well this "incredibly hard" quest chain can be done in mere hours if you have group for it, so it is already way more faster than said extreme weapons to get.

PS: Dont play for loot and instead play to master your chosen class, because even easyest classes need practice to get FULL potential out of them.

Sorry, please speak for yourself. I assume you already have Coil T5 on farm status and will totally one shot all the extreme Primals and finish the new story quests in a day, right?

I will before the patch, it's not that hard. I already get to T5 consistently. It's just learning the mechanics like any other encounter, then you can beat it everytime since attack patterns are virtually the same.

I guess that's why I see you shouting for T1-4 throughout the week...cause you will beat Twintania before the patch...with a PUG group...getting to T5 consistently is a different story than beating T5...T1-4 is a joke and my group one shots all 4 in around 40min by now...

Aside get your information straight...6 months? Patch 2.2(new Coil Turns+Leviathan) is scheduled for March...2.3 (next CT part+Ramuh and Shiva)for June...

PS: You barely meet the minimum for T5 gear-wise...consider yourself carried with your lvl of gear if you go in there.

There is no new content in the game for people grinding coil.

no, there is no content for people who only care about reward.

I love people who only focus ont the fastest way to cap then cry they cap too fast and have nothing to do!

Either way, it's not going to take 6 months to get the primal weapon. It's just 4 bossfights. That's it. After you beat them, you're off to grind PvP, CT, and Coil for the next 6 months.

why would you keep grinding only 2.0/2.1 content during 2.2?
