    FFXIV on Nintendo WII U

I think SE should take advantage of this new console. It has the graphic capabilities to run FFXIV and with the new controller the advantages are endless. Like having your action bar on your controller.

    What do you think?

EDIT: If you were SE how would you take advantage of Nintendo's new hardware? There's a lot of possibilities with that new controller so how would you make FFXIV work with it?

But keep in mind that it should not give players on the WII U a significant advantage over the players of the other platforms.

    EDIT: 2

Would be sweet but I would guess it would take a long time to come to the Wii U since its not even announced for PS3 release date yet.

Yeah, I like the idea in theory, but I just can't get into the system for some reason...

I guess I mostly just feel that portable gaming should be in the limelight right now with the 3DS and the PSVita, which is the one I'm most excited about.

Of course the more ways people can play FFXIV, the better. The system DOES seem to have more juice than the current Sony/MS offerings.

I'm a little confused from the conference. They only showed off the controller(is that right?) They didn't show the system, or is the system the actual controller?

The controller is a selling point for the system besides the graphics and all.. and yes, FFXIV possibilities could be huge with the controller.

Nintendo kept our preview session entirely focused on the play experience, and revealed very little about the specifications of the upcoming machine. The company said the games would come on “proprietary high-density optical discs” and that the new console would use internal flash storage for downloaded content, which would be upgradable with SD cards or USB sticks.
