    In other games you are forced to make alternate characters to experience other forms of gameplay, thereby avoiding ALL lockouts for gear. This game highly boasts the ability to play just 1 character but limits that 1 character with character based lockouts. You also get charged extra money to make additional characters which pushes you even further towards deciding to make a single char for everything.

    Edit: As for the incentive, you're right, I do play with my friends for fun and I'll also do the content additional times to help friends but you're missing my point. My friends are not always available and we have a routine already. I would like the ability to say.. join a pug group and still have an incentive to do so. Also, if I do choose to play blm in coil for example then I have to forfeit my experience on scholar which is very different in my opinion. How does increasing the number of players who are participating in content hurt anybody?
