Why is it that the HQ Perception cap is at 15%? I personally feel that the cap should be 100% (with the proper Perception value or above). Is anyone else for them changing it to continue to scale above 15% with Perception increases?

I feel the HQ Percentage should be higher. I also feel that it should be capped but not at 15% that's pretty low 30-40% I feel it should be at.

So in this so called economy it is possible to HQ every single synth 100% of the time.. but only HQ gathering a max of 15%...? Sounds right.

Think of it this way.
In nature, only 15% of all things are HQ, the rest are normal quality stuff. When you don't have enough Perception, naturally you won't be able to tell the HQ from NQ when you gather; but even if you have 9999 Perception, you can still only gather as much HQ items as there originally exist in nature.

I'd rather it be reduced tbh, right now HQ mats are just a waste of inventory space.
No 15% is plenty.
Also, even though we can HQ things now from NQ. It may not be that way in the future.
To do it you need the right craft maxed with a proper use of their lvl 50 abilities, it's not something you can do at random. In a sense to have that effect you need a nice effort
The cap is ok. HQ materials help you a lot when you're crafting. If those items become easy to obtain, the HQ crafting will be more common. Why? because, in order to get HQ crafts, you need, as Yuki said, all your cross skills OR!!! HQ materials (and some cross-class skills). That requires effort and time. ALSO, leves give you more exp if you give them HQ items/crafting (200% extra exp), so you will level up really fast. If you craft HQ things faster due the increasement of drop rate of those things, everyone will max their DoH and DoL classes in no time (It's fast even with the current system). The economy as you know it, will blow.
