SE Censoring Emote ability due to select few is not the answer.

So basicly what SE tries to prevent by limiting this one already exist and will continue to exist till the day this game dies or loses all its emotes.

Maybe my game is just special but I can still use /doze and it plays an animation. You're losing nothing.

Sure, lets not enjoy our game and alow SE to restrict us from every single little new thing they add, RESTRICTION THIS RESTRICTION THAT. The funny part? People who make this a big deal are doing exactly the same as she's doing - "Why can't I use this style of /doze anywhere SE? It's a big deal, it's game breaking and quite frankly silly that I'm restricted from an animation."

Saying there are more important things to discuss is fact, not opinion.

1. You need to check your definitions for fact and opinion.

2. Posting in this thread stating that restricting the /doze emote was a bad idea does not exclude me or anyone else from posting in other threads about other issues. I'm a pretty vocal person, and I do speak up when I see something I'm unhappy about (as anyone can tell from my post history).

Back on topic: SE needs to stop smothering their playerbase and just give us their content without arbitrary restrictions. Let us use the darn /doze wherever we want.

Only in a very particular location that the majority of players do not have access to. It's absurd. I've never seen this in emote systems in other MMOs - and for good reason.

Even if I were posting in this thread to the exclusion of all others (which, as I already pointed out, I am not, nor are the majority, if not all, of the other posters here - this alone negates your entire argument, as it is based off the premise that we are ignoring other issues), your opinion that this issue doesn't matter would still be precisely that: an opinion. As a roleplayer, the emote system is of huge significance to me, as I make use of it regularly to engage immersion during scenes. Being unable to access a simply laying down emote because of a completely arbitrary and nonsense excuse is not something I am going to just passively accept.

All freedom is important. I wouldn't give much for a world where I was allowed to do anything, but all books I read must praise god every 10th page because religion is important among book writers.
