Seeking SMN or Melee DPS, Savage Alex

Hey guys! We recently had to remove our long-time SMN from our raid group. The guy is a great SMN, but couldn't make it to raid anymore so are sadly having to replace him. We are ultimately seeking another SMN to replace, but may also consider a skilled Ninja instead.

Anyone remember those old school AOE indicators on Caduceous?

First, a little about the group. Currently, we are known simply as "Group 4" and are a 7-man FC static from the Free Company "Wipes on Trash". We have been raiding since the days the first Coils of Bahamut opened, and have been running all content since then. As such, we are a tight knit group and have a lot of fun when we assemble. We have a more "casual" raid schedule and only raid 5-8 hours a week (depending) but our group has above average skill level and we have successfully cleared all content before any major nerfs, including all coils, raids, and primal battles to date. We are a group mostly of men in the 20s to early 30s demographic, but we all play casually throughout the week at various hours of the day.


We are 5-weeks now having cleared A1s and want a steady 4th DPS for our A2s progression. We would like to bring in a player with a decent level of understanding in there job, has a desire to raid and learn, has a drive to improve and succeed, and can make our scheduled times. We are also willing to work with a player and help them to understand mechanics, fights, and concepts, but you must be dedicated and be able to improve. As we are a progression group, TeamSpeak is required, and also having a decent foothold on your equipment, at least item level 188 or higher.

Our raid times are as follows:
Monday: 8pm EST - 10pm EST (2 hours)
Tuesday: 8pm EST - 9:30pm EST (1½ hours)
Thursday: 8pm EST - 9:30pm EST (1½ hours)
*Sunday: 8pm EST - 10pm EST (2 hours)
*Sunday is typically only done when progression has reached a climax and the entire group agrees to it.
