FF got games on xbox 360 why are they not. Destructing there matchmaking ?

For Duty finder? Should be fast as hell and simple options and more.
Seems like FF is just wasting are money trying to get there duty finder fixed. When they can use the xbox 360 version of it like ever single other game in the world is using that system. It works well with flaws, But CoD and hundreds of other game have improved it and was free if they created a xbox 360 games. Would save them tons money and resources to use it. Since i Assume square got the code?

Wouldn't change a thing for matchmaking since microsoft refuses to allow cross platform gameplay. So you'll just end up with a small community playing only by themselves on the 360 :P

No the duty finder system sucks. All i was saying. Sorry if confused people. If seen over the last 5 years on mmos and games in general they been using the xbox live matchmaking system from halo 2. Yet improved 10 folds.

Oh alright! Well to each is own I guess. For me and for a lot of people the DF does it's job. Granted I don't really use it as a prefer running stuff with the locals, but for the couple times I queued up I got a group in the hour. There's always room for improvement i'll grant you that but nothing's perfect. I'm sure it'll be improved with time.

They're not really "fixing" the duty finder, rather adding more features such as the "duty roulette" so people can join any instance in certain categories. Xbox 360 version of FFXIV:ARR is not likely to come out (to my knowledge at least). PS4 version confirmed, Xbox One version possible, but not likely (again only to my knowledge, if I'm wrong feel free to tell me and show the source).

As for the rest of your post... What? CoD's multiplayer lobbies work a bit differently than the duty finder in FFXIV:ARR. Their lobby system pretty much accepts people from certain regions into the server so they can play together, FFXIV needs certain classes/jobs to fulfill the roles to complete the dungeon (tanks, damage, and healers respectively).

CoD also survives on the millions of copies it sells with each subsequent annual release, as well as releasing new map packs and other DLC for a fairly substantial amount ($10-$15 map packs, yes?). FFXIV strives on the subscription to keep a constant influx of money to the developers to maintain and steadily add new content throughout the game's lifetime (which can exceed 10 years, looking at Final Fantasy XI, Everquest, and soon World of Warcraft). There are free MMO's, but many rely on microtransactions to earn revenue. For example, they will add "vanity" items to change your character's appearance on the game's website that is only purchasable with real money. Or put an item up on the "market" that is a very rare drop in the game, but you can get it immediately for some cash. (The latter is perhaps the start of the "pay to win" system, where if you spend the money you will have the best equipment. But I assume the majority of FFXIV:ARR players most likely do not want, and I certainly do not want a pay to win system).
