What do you feel went RIGHT with FFXIV?

Sometimes it's easy to get lost with the issues, but I thought maybe we could share our thoughts on what we believe are the strengths of FFXIV. Share your own thoughts and opinions. Even the perfect can be perfected and with that.. we're not looking for perfect features. So feel free to share what you believe are some of the strengths of FFXIV.

    HUD/UI
I think it's pretty amazing allowing me so much freedom to customize key interface components on my screen. I look forward to more widgets and more customization features in the future, this truly has been a highlight for me.

    Class System
I think it's pretty unique, even in its infancy I can see a system with so much possibility to shine as it already does. The concept appeals to me so much, and feels like an evolution of the "subjob" system.

Action Bar / Abilities and Traits
The Blue Mage System as I like to call it lol. I really like the Action bar. I really like the point system for setting your abilities and spells. Yeah they're two separate components, but they go hand in hand. The action bar feels like a perm-macro menu, and the ability system allows me to set the most relevant abilities and spells, weeding out the unnecessary.

    Graphics
Not to be confused with art style (although i'm a fan of that as well). It is such a beautiful world. Ignoring the current repetitive environments, everything else is so rich in detail and I can only imagine future areas, monsters, and armor with great detail.

    Teleport
And last, but certainly not least... this system, once perfectly balanced, is very generous. I imagine with mounts and other transportation implemented, the teleport system will be a strong alternative to getting around instantly for any Class/Job, at any level.

That list is my most hated aspects of this game especially teleport.

I think the cutscenes are amazing it's just too bad that frame-rate that's usually smooth as silk drops to 10 frames per second during them. But there isn't enough of them and the plot makes no sense and pales in comparison to III-XI FF games.

You can turn it on and get something done in under an hour, whereas with FFXI (back in the day) you might be looking for a group for longer than that.

i never had a problem gettin a party in ff11 ever even when leveling puppetmaster beastmaster dragoon and whm galka lol peoples inability to get a party in ff11 was always due to a few factors
    1 bad reputation
    2 poorly geared
3 not understanding there job at all
4 meleeing on rdm past yhoater jungle
5 relying on level sync to level which in turn gave u craptastic skill lvls and no acc. and a bad reputation lol
6 not meriting fully or weapon lvls to give u an advantage.

And whats my only thing i think they truely got right in ff14?????? when u create a character your toon actually looks like the one u created in character creation instead of that bogus crap in ff11 lol

everything else people just tolerate mostly because at this point the game is still free to play and easy to lvl. I pray the damn jobs actually give this game new life.

Get real man I took BLM to 75 and wasn't any of what you mentioned and sometimes I'd sit hours waiting for a party. As much as I love FFXI it doesn't mean it did everything flawlessly. However in XI when I couldn't find a party I'd usually make one myself, wasn't always easy anyway. (cuz you forgot in your list to mention: not finding a tank, not finding a white mage, in some cases not finding a bard, etc.) wasn't always a cake walk.

The only thing I can really say is graphics, albeit run on a half-baked engine. The scenery is impressive, but there's not much interesting interaction with the world itself (especially considering what has been done in most Final Fantasy games).

    This.
I would say graphics too but with all the copy/paste landscape it would be a big lie.
