Since belts are no longer displayed and there are no zippers on Eorzea, I don't think Nomura would want to work on this game.

Only the belts in the belt slot are no longer displayed. but it should be no problem for him to create armor with belt as part of the armor.

That's unfortunate; he's easily my favorite artist at SE. His art style's always reminded me of a child's storybook, and to me that just fits with FF for some reason. I wish him all the best, and hope he continues to put out great work =)

This is sad indeed. He was my favorite Square-Enix artist who did the art for Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Ivalice games and many others.
