Well I'm a little surprised about the posts. Many want some kind of PvP system, and it seems others could care less long as it doesn't mess with their gaming experience. I do know, after finding some other posts that briefly cover this, that there will be no open world PvP. Good! I hate it anyway. The posts set about some kind of player competition but no combat PvP are good ideas. Card games are fun, and the idea someone had in another post about Chocobo racing kind of like Grand Turismo and Need for Speed sounded cool, instead of in XI where I guess it was simulated (never raced in XI), and how in VII it depended on the better Chocobo and not skill. Thing about that would be it'd take too much to have that kind of Chocobo racing I would think.

We all know that SE has some smart people working on the FF games. I've noticed it playing VII through XI, and even XIII regardless of how much people thought it was crap (didn't care much for XII honestly, just because something didn't set right with me on it). I'm sure that they'll be able to come up with something that will bring about a strong competitiveness between players, because that's honestly what any real gamer is looking for, and the lack of that is why it took years (8 or 9 years, I don't remember for sure) for FFXI to reach 2 million subscribers, when WoW had 10 million within 5 years or so, with all of them being in an American region, and FFXI crossed four different languages. Come on, SE, you're a better company than Blizzard. Show us all something that will put them in their place!
