You still get tomes, and it's still something to do.Without knowing the actual system yet, the one thing that I'm concerned about is that you clear the dungeon - get your chest, and nothing drops for your preferred job; no-one greeds because they want main job equipment first, don't want locked out in case the desired piece is in the next coffer, and the run is wasted. This happened to one of my FC Coil goups last night, nothing dropped for a "main job," for the first few turns.

Well, that's a risk with every dungeon, isn't it? Admittedly, Coil makes this pretty harsh, but since Crystal Tower can be run as many times as you like in a week, the only difference is that you're waiting for specific items to drop in order to roll, rather than just greeding on everything for the hell of it.Without knowing the actual system yet, the one thing that I'm concerned about is that you clear the dungeon - get your chest, and nothing drops for your preferred job; no-one greeds because they want main job equipment first, don't want locked out in case the desired piece is in the next coffer, and the run is wasted. So it seems, for the people that are understanding the translation better than I am and your consensus here, is that the loot is at the very very end of your run?
That sounds like the solution I was searching for, if that is how it is. It does kind of raise the question though, is it scripted more like Castrum more than say, Coil?
If that is the case, I would like to assume there will be more than one boss and being the last boss will probably be some ominous villain we love to hate, the ones before him/her that drop no loot will probably be sort of bland mini bosses. Which is fine but, with the mention of it being a raid, I kind of was thinking something like, boss 1, then boss 2, etc like Coil. Coil, while being less of a surprise anymore, when first ran at launch had bosses that had a few surprises...
Mini bosses in this game so far, seem to like to overwhelm you with their numbers of adds, which aren't really that overwhelming for a organized group.

I was quite obviously referring to the villain from Star Trek, for those not understanding his meaning.

It was certainly not a spelling error as I am infallible.
As for your disdain for the television character I can understand and agree completely.

The biggest issue i see here is that EVEN IN COIL you can get more than one drop per friggin week. My Tank main/group is damn near geared, so last week i got both a caster ring and a MNK necklace/ring, as they were not needed.
Why do they now want to limit us EVEN MORE than ENDGAME? Really pushes my buttons.
well you can't force ppl to stay.
Fantasy above reality.
They need to have the treasure at the end of the dungeon. The final boss, so people will stay.
But watch we will still have crybabies leaving at the first wipe or something.
It'll take time to get CT down. [I don't think it'll be that hard.] but ugh lol.
Not looking forward to it.
