    Yeah, we considered this too, and to be honest I'd rather see it so that you'd have to complete turn 5 before you could go back to turn one again within the week, sort of like one single dungeon (which is basically what it is). But then we know who'd complain about that.

    Personally I'm sick of BRD accessories every week (and I main BRD). It doesn't make it hard at all, it just makes it stupid and underwhelming.

    I have to agree. The lockout system is archaic. They switched things up with the loot system for CT. Too be honest, if more game companies are catering to casual gamers as that is where the money is then guaranteeing them a piece of loot once a week, rather then locking them out and not giving them anything in return can burn a casual out. This would give them a sense of accomplishment and give them a sense of a light at the end of the tunnel. We currently don't have that and can turn people off easily.

    Loot system is fine, but stop locking on participation lock roll once you've cleared once, but let players run the content again at their whim. As it is, the game is regressing into a weekly LAN party. If only it had the latency of a LAN...

    If anything can be gleaned from other games on the market, it is that casual gamers make up the majority of players as we all have things we do in our personal lives and don't have time to dedicate 30+ hours a week to a game on a regular basis. Thing is, if you don't want to feel like your time was not utterly wasted, then having something to show for it helps with that. Hate to say it but gamers are fickle and flighty a lot of the time, we constantly jump ship to another game when we get bored or start feeling like we are wasting our time. That whole wasting time thing may be a perception relative to the person but if you weren't aware, perception is everything. Giving people something to show for their time invested actually will build people's opinions up because they have something to show for it where as currently, yeah you really don't if you aren't very lucky.

    You're more likely to catch flies with honey rather than vinegar (aka nothing at all).

    Yes this would of made gearing from coil much easier then it was already. To garuntee yourself 1 peice of best in game loot a week. Like our fc could of gotten everyone their twintania weapon in 1 week XD.

    As healer i only got 3 pieces of coil loot from running it every week since near release.

    SE are basically designing the game with as much time sinks and content stretching as possible. If they had originally done this people would of gotten everyone for their main within like 10 weeks?

    The CT having gear restriction is just the dumbest thing imaginable because it was supposed to be a way to gear your alts. Since the loot is ilvl80. Which means its easier to gear your alts threw coil then it is via CT.

    Weekly lockout unlimited loot=Quicker alt gearing
    No lockout Limited to 1 loot=Quicker "main" gearing

    Yoshida has no clue what he doing he has designed the restrictions in the backwards order. OR yoshida knows what he is doing and he is just milking as many subs as he can by forcing the game to be played two days a week instead of being done within month or 2 then resub as next patch.

    If they were able to complete the turns yes, that is roughly 2.5 months the update cycle roughly that SE is pushing for. That is one class as well. Another thing to take note is as the economy is not in a great place still (while it is getting better) justifying spending 15 bucks a month on something you play once or twice a week is getting harder to do when their is larger competition to make yourself standout that is free. Just another thing to keep in mind. (Side note not a fan of f2p but do have to admit they do have some good games that are). There are a lot of things to factor in why the loot system in CT would be a good thing for coil..and some reasons as to why it prob isn't a good thing for it...won't really know till we see how the system for CT is received.

    You have to take people who sell runs into account. It would become super easy and effective to sell coil clears for people, as titan is now.

    Who's to say that the CT system would give you guaranteed loot each week? There is still rng, but at least you could run with whoever you want at anytime and just have fun running BC multiple times during the week. Also would make the armory system useful. Even if you only got 1 piece per week and not per job, the extra flexibility of having multiple classes for multiple groups would be huge.

    I think it's a great idea, even if a few people start selling runs, I doubt many will buy. Paying for rng is lol, people only buy Titan cause its 100% guaranteed relic.
