new psn ID question for playstation user.

hello. my playstation 3 died, and i have replaced it. however psn is having trouble moving my old account to a new sony. i am willing to purchase another copy of ffxivarr on the new sony, but i don't know for certain if i will be able to log in with this account. i remember reading that my ffxiv account is tied to my psn id but i don't remember how it was worded exactly so i am not sure if i can sign in on a different psn id.

You cannot sign in under a different PSN ID.

What's causing the problem? When my fat PS3 died and I got a slim one I was able to simply create a user on the new PS3 and sign into my existing PSN account.

problem is that i forgot my password on a 7 year old account. when i requested new password no email came. when i called they said there is a problem with their system that they are trying to repair now. could take 2 days could take 2 weeks for their maintenence to fix it.

if i buy game for pc can i log in on my account on laptop?

I dont believe so, I think the accts are seperate for PC and PS3

Yes if you buy the PC version you can register it and play on your laptop.

Make sure you sign in to MogStation and just add Windows platform.
