    Game Crashing Frequently

Crashes 2-6 times a day depending on how long it takes me to get infuriated with the issue.

I've clean installed my drivers, tried different versions, clean installed my whole system, ran memtest, kept track of my temps (nothing even close to a whisper of critical), program has full control, didn't install 3d, replaced RAM.

Just to rule it out, do you have a strong power supply? Preferably one that is certified (should have certification logos for something like SLI or 80+)? Think that thing recommends a minimum of 500W, but mileage can vary depending on overall system config and load levels. If you are running a UPS, the monitoring software might have a way to get some idea of how many watts you are drawing off it when under heavy load, just so you have a frame of reference for what you actually use if you think you may be close to the limit.

It probably isn't an issue, but can you or have you tried lowering the refresh rate? Just wondering if you've tried it... seems like 144 may be overkill for this application.

I'm running a 100w modular, and it's overkill, but I also use the monitor for painting. It's limited in the game to 60, also.

tricky one... on paper you should be good, nothing really looking like it would be marginal like you usually see with crazy overclocking--unless that CPU was binned out too high and should be at 3.2 or 3.1 instead of 3.3. But then again, 3.3 should be doable on a 3.1 anyway.. so that's probly not worth looking into either.

Not sure what brand of RAM you're using, but I once had a weird pair that got flaky when the system was hammered--but it passed memtest86 with flying colors. Only way I found to make it crash on demand was with Prime95 on an overnight burn. Had to loosen up the timings to make it stable--which defeated the purpose of buying the higher end Corsairs. Fortunately, they have a nice warranty program and they quickly replaced them as a matched pair for free.

IDK.. might be something else to try I guess just to rule it out. If you aren't familiar with Prime95's Torture Test, here's a short howto with download links from sevenforums:
    http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

I usually run a test overnight at least, just to be on the safe side. If I'm really pushing tight timings, I'll run it a full 24 hours though.

FurMark can be handy for trying to melt your GPU too, if you haven't tried that angle:

I've run prime95 before 16 hours, no issue. I run more graphically-intense games very often, with no issues. I've also run FurMark, however, 600+ series shut down when they hit a certain temperature. I honestly think it's something to do with software, not hardware, but I've tried the latest beta drivers, the latest signed, and a variable roulette of past drivers at people's recommendations. Was hoping someone would have an answer.
