How will you use the actual Crystal Tower?

There are a lot of threads on the subject trying to determine how Crystal Tower should be. This ain't one of them.

The actual Crystal Tower information is that there is a ilvl.55 requirement and that there is a 1-item-obtained per week cap.

The question is:
How will you use the actual Crystal Tower?
- Gear a single job (at a time) in ilvl.80
- Use ilvl.80 items as placeholders until you get the Allagan pieces you want in Coil
- Gear multiple jobs with some ilvl.80 gears (I don't want to spam it to get specific items)
... or any other reason you may have...

I was just gonna ask the same thing!

I main PLD so I'm a mix of DL and Myth. While my SCH and WAR are both full DL (HQ Vanya as well).

I don't know whether to farm CT to fill gaps in my PLD and boost WAR or gear up my SCH.

Have a feeling I might use CT with my SCH while Coil will be reserved for PLD and WAR although my luck at getting tank drops in coil so far has been dreadful!

I plan to use it as a testing ground for my Alternate Classes (when they are leveled up to 50), while using it to farm Philo, Myth, and maybe gettng some bonus stuff...

FC's going to take on it using all of our secondary jobs, gear them up, ready them up for when we need to use them.
Think i'm going to try and run it BLM before anything else since none trusts me out of a DD job. After I certainly want to gear up my WHM (given that my PLD is being geared with Darksteel already)

Use it as a placeholder then gear alts. It will be interesting to see if CT gear provides a viable solution aside from crafting to people who have accuracy problems with the allagan gear and have geared themselves into a corner.

I'll be using Crystal Tower to supplement Philo/Myth gearing for multiple jobs.

Main: Bard (need 2,000~ more Myth for BiS all myth equipment)
Second: Warrior (Myth head, Hoplite body, rest Darklight) ... so I could really go for a tank body (screw you stupid ugly DL tank body)
Third : Scholar (full AK armor, random lv50+ accessories) ... Philo upgrading here, but I could go with body/head until I get coil drop.

Fourth : Dragoon (not even 50 yet and I have a few coil pieces... doesn't everyone?)

I burn out VERY quickly on WP/AK... so I hope that Tower will drop Philo tomes as well as Myth (to help with darklight gearing while getting ilv80 stuff), I'd be really happy with 50philo / 20myth since it sounds like it will take a lot more than Primals.

I leveled PLD as my main. Has full DL with +1 Shield and Myth ring. I can easily do up to T4 Coil in this gear and could possibly do T5 with some crafted accessories. (Possibly but that's not the point of dispute here.)

I have also leveled Bard and since ilvl90 gear seems to have a greater affect on my effectiveness in a party as a DD, than as my tank, I have been pimping it out with Myth gear.

Next, I am in the process of leveling WHM as I want a Job in each part of the trinity. Currently deciding whether I want to Gear out PLD or WHM on CT gear.

I'm thinking Coil for PLD and CT for WHM while continuing to use Myth tomes for BRD.

But considering you don't even need anywhere close to BiS for every spot to tackle the hardest content it may just come down to the appearance of the gear.
