Gold Saucer!

Dark knight.
thats pretty much all i care about besides AF2 and getting dragoon to 50 (my allagan maiming pants are gathering dust...)

Ascian War, is all really want to know about in the next expansion. People are so hung up on the mechanics of the game that they are forgetting that the ARR storyline is actually pretty f'in good. I just finished FF7 on PC over thanksgiving, and just DL FF8 on steam today, and after watching some FF13-3 LR fight and mechanic content on youtube, i feel like i'm almost denied the story driven content of what makes FF great once you hit 50.
If they are adding classes, id like them to make it relevant to the lore or continuing story of Eorza. Don't just give us more primals, give us a reason, dialog, and story behind it. We know Leviathan, Ramuh, and Shiva are coming but why bother? Is there going to be a deeper connected story behind the Crystal Gods that make being in Eorza worth while in the future?
Anyway, in the next expansion I think Omega Weapon should make an appearance, i can think of 50 different ways that would make it a viable driving force to the story. A crazy amount of easter egg hunts will be fun too. Almost every FF fan i know loved doing easter egg hunting in in previous FF games. Finding connections to other FF worlds and items previously found in other FFs.
Considering that the HD Remaster of FFX is coming out soon, content involving that would be fun. They could make a massive boss fight against Seymour where you have to fight all 4 of his forms in succession. Not to mention his epic battle themes would play throughout as you progress.
Adding some of the weapons from that game would be nice too.

A fortress filled with Lalafell Assassins. Any Lalafell team mates will attack the party during last phase of boss fight. After you won, you have a 15% chance of logging in the inn, to find your char dead, and all gil missing.
Heli's Black Market open for business. Sells black market items for your exotic needs.
closed for business till further notice

Id like to see more classes/Jobs, I'd also like if they did some sort of division within jobs, maybe in the form of alternate advancements, or Im not sure, but something to make people of the same class different.
I think we could use more tank classes, and more support classes, I have no interest in a warrior, and Im sick of playing paladins in games (tho I did love Cecil), I find the whole bard /bow thing weird, I like to play bards (support) but have always disliked ranged melee. kind of wished bards used harps like in ff2, Some sand box elements wouldn't hurt, more weapon variations within classes.
Id like to see some epic quest lines all thru the level ranges, things that award unique pieces/looking gear, even better is if you had to choose certain paths that would then not allow you to follow other paths resulting in varying rewards. Hardcore overland zones, with special agro rulesets
What about being summoned by Cosmos to the Dissidia realm to fight Chaos with the help of some other FF games characters, a little team up temporary crossover, like a dungeon where you get randomly teamed with heroes from other dimensions

Aside from more story content... More jobs. Red Mage being the one I really want. Whether it's gladiator based or they make a whole new class for it (fencer?) I don't care, I just want Red Mage (was RDM and DNC main in XI). I'd also like to see more jobs from FFXI, dancer being one in particular. A while back I recall the devs saying RDM, Dark Knight, Samurai, and Ninja would be some of the jobs they're looking to put in the game.
I'd also like "Limit Break" quests like in XI to progress to the next caps, as long as it doesn't involve collecting X amount of seals or something. Would be leading up to a Maat-like boss or the main job quest giver of your specific job at whatever level would be the cap, 75 like in XI maybe, before abyssea of course (such as White Mage fighting Raya-O-Senna, or another WHM NPC... or something).
