We go through the dungeons to get tomes, money, so we can buy gear. We go through coil over and over to get tomes, so we can buy gear. Or hope a piece of gear falls out. We are limited to how much tomes (money) we can make per week, and how many times we can play the Coil Chest lottery.

Once we got our weekly salary and played our lottery ticket we are done.

We are now the working class adventurer, here to collect a salary, scratch a ticket, then retreat back to the adventurer's hall to chat with friends over a drink and savoury snack. The battles no longer interest us, we have memorized them so much we can do it in our sleep.

We are adventurers who thrive for action and adventure, but end up settling for a measly weekly salary and a lottery ticket.

I want to fight the good fight. I want battles and adventures where winning is its own reward. Where each fight is non-deterministic and the outcome matters not on if we forgot the next step in the dance or lagged. Where it matters on our guile, our wit, our ability to improvise.

Am I the only one who wants this?
