Suggestions for new forum features.

#1: Add a new button labeled "Jump to First Square-Enix Post" which appears at the top of the topic page any time an official SE representative posts a reply in that topic. Clicking on this button will automatically take the user to the first post created by an official SE community rep.

#2: If there are two or more posts from an official community rep (or reps) in a single topic, a button labeled "Jump to Next Square-Enix Post" will appear at the bottom of that community rep's post (next to the "Like" button). Clicking on this button will automatically take the user to the next post from a community rep in that topic. This button will not appear on the post of the last community rep in that topic, or if there is only one community rep post in that particular topic. Another button labeled "Jump to Previous Square-Enix Post" would be great to have, as well.

#3: On the Dev Tracker, at the top of the page, put in a language filter option that allows players to only view devs posts of a specific language (there's plenty of empty space up there at the top of the Dev Tracker page -- more than enough room). For example, there could be a drop-down menu with five options (All, Japanese, English, French, German), or SE could use check-boxes, like so:

I agree with your proposition (the requirement is ok, I would leave the concept to the development team)

This is what I believe needs to be addressed in the forums:

1) regarding your post, I spent a little time checking other posts that seemed to refer to your concept in some way:

I care about what people have to say, but what interests me the most is what is going to happen after all the discussions. I don't want to drill through all the posts. Add a way to filter a thread by (any kind of) SE intervention.

2) the threads need to be classified in groups and sub-groups. There is no use in having more than 5 pages of results in a category. People won`t read them all and this leads to duplication of posting. This imply the ability to create new categories and sub-categories by the community for creating threads. Modify a category/sub-category name privilege left to the creator. Delete a category/sub-category would be SE privileges. Moving a thread to another category to the thread creator. This leads to a need to reach the category or sub-category you want easily. Currently the forum tree hierarchy is simply too horizontal and not effective.

I'm not used to using forums, maybe these are concepts known or seen somewhere else.

The forum categories here are actually pretty typical of a BBS style message board.

Though your suggestion that posts in the Dev Tracker should be organized by category is certainly a welcome idea. Currently, it's a real pain trying to search through all but the most recent the Dev Posts.

Moving topics to another category is already a feature, but it's under the control of the moderators, not the topic creators.
