1 WHM
1 PLD
1 DRG
1 BRD

The rest aren't actually needed so you can bring w/e you want or ppl to carry

Hm, 4man farming is a bit slow, don't you think?
You can get 4 BLM/BRD to raise your dps. Carrying people implies a much slower battle.

It is a little less than 2 times longer so it isn't insanely slow, plus you get the added benefit of only having to roll against 3 other ppl as opposed to 7.

Also we farm it more for fun the gear is cool to but we are trying to do it more for the heart which no one in my party is to crazy about getting anymore now cause we have killed titan a couple thousand times and have never once seen that freakin thing!!!!!! I still think ppl are lying to me about titan dropping it <,< XD

I help people with the fight constantly. Just a week ago I helped another person, who died literally 7 times through the fight, he not only got his relic that run, but also got the heart. Not to sound like an elitest jerk, but I've probably gone about 30 titans without even taking avoidable damage, and I have never seen one outside of that, forget the hundreds of prior runs.

I would sell Titan runs too, but I just can't give the relic to someone who will end up dying 7 times in the Coil, or will get cocky and insult people who don't have the relic like him.

I downed Titan 3 times, but if the party is good it's reeeeaally easy XD
During the first try, I died because my sister started downloading while I was playing on PS3 (lol, something like 5 seconds lag), but she turned her PC off, I was raised and I managed to win with one SCH with me without Mage's Ballad XD I never had more than 1500 MP.
I was about to log out, when someone said at Revenant's Toll "wanna 4man Titan in bikini?", I'd have accepted if he had said it earlier.

He is saying for a base to farm quickly he needs that, the rest can be whatever or carry if you want. I think solo heal is obviously optimal and most likely easier as a whm, but unless you know one they are hard to find. So I find that dual Sch while one does dps or whm/sch works fine too.

Even though BRD's get damage nerf that doesn't make them useless. The whole point of the job is support anyway. Besides , the simple fact that they can maintain dps while dodging makes up for alot. Healers benefit hugely from ballad after heart phase and Foe works wonders paired with BLM for heart. Every Titan party should have a BRD.

Ok so after some solo heal testing with a pug group today, I found that x2 Bard, BLM, DRG, Monk, PLD was extremely fast. I don't think we could sub the PLD for WAR though maybe a BRD for SMN would be better idk though that would prevent us from casting mage/foe. There was almost a mandatory mage balled after p5 for the WHM though. It was crazy that we would beat Titan's heart before he would even cast the 2nd Gaol at least on it's normal timing.

Best setup for speed kills is the following IMO:

1xPLD
1xWHM
1xSCH
2xBRD
1xDRG
1xBLM
1xSMN

BLM is among hihgest DPS but in a fight where movement is a big issue, they don't do as much as they could. 2 BRDs so you have constant Requiem up and they deal dmg while moving, and 1BLM and SMN for the benefit of high burst dmg+high sustained dmg through the SMN. SMN doesn't lose much DPS while moving as long as DoTs are up and while moving he can always just do Ruin 2 and Festers.
