Titan HM, best party setup

Today I farmed Titan HM a little with a relic/relic+1 group, and I ended up wondering which could be the best party setup for this battle.
In my opinion, the best party ever is:
1 WHM
1 SCH
1 PLD (tank)
1 WAR (dps)
1 melee DPS
3 BLM

WHM and SCH is clearly the best healing setup, so let's skip this.
PLD, at least until 17th December, is the best tank.
WAR can give a good stat boost to the party, and it is a really efficient DPS, but it can also be switched with a fourth BLM.
DRG or MNK as melee DPS for Final Heaven.
BLM is a huge damage dealer, and 3-4 of them are equal to true despair XD

With this setup, we downed Titan HM 2 times in 10 minutes each, the first two phases lasted less than 20 seconds XD

Do you agree with this? If not, why?

My best party setup is:
1 Paladin who knows to rotate CD
1 Scholar who can solo heal the whole thing
6 of any DPS that can stay alive
That's it really. Sure final heaven is nice but not needed. Why not bring 6 monks? They have amazing dps on single target and can keep GL3 up mostly through the phases. And with that setup, you'll always have Dragon Kick up increasing damage to all of them and you can have Mantra back to back to back to back to back to back with downtime of only 30s lol.
Warrior only brings increased damage for him and Paladin btw.

BLM is a bit more powerful than all the other dps classes, this is what Yoshida said.
Final Heaven is a lot useful because it deals double the damage than DoM LBs.
Solo healing is good for a "just for fun" run, but when you want to farm Titan I don't think it is reliable, I never tried though.

3 Equally Geared Bards and BLMs on a titan fight.. it wont even be close. Bard will win hands down, and therefore, should be the majority dps, and not BLM. I have both jobs equally geared, and frequently sell titan runs, when I come on my black mage (which is slightly better geared than my BRD) my FC mates always tell me "GET BACK ON BARD" which I have no problem with because I love both jobs. But yeah, BRD is vastly superior to BLM on just about every aspect of this fight.

I agree, but will it compare with Foe + 2 Blm? The quickest I ever beat Titan was with the group I listed but it was 2 blm/1mnk and allegen +1 War iirc we only dealt with 2 mb's maybe 3. Hmm maybe it was 3 or 4, either way it was so fast I can't remember correctly.

That's an interesting point, would certainly make it a lot closer. But still, Foe has a much shorter up time than the other songs, and even though you're buffing the damage of the 2 BLMs, you're still missing the constant DPS from 2 BRDs. It would be an interesting thing to see the numbers on. Perhaps 2BRD+1BLM so you could have double foe duration would be optimal?

Remember, BRDs will be nerfed really soon.
And today I downed Titan HM twice in a row with no wipes without using Mage's Ballad.
I think I can actually replace the WAR with a BRD, to get some buffs, but don't they cost 20% dps dealt by the BRD? This is not such a good buff. I don't really know, I am just archer lv16, but I think I heard that songs cost 20% dps.
I don't sell Titan runs (I don't like getting bad people geared, but that's off topic), but I can say I have good knowledge about this fight, and I suggest [WHM + SCH + melee DD + 3x-4x BLM + 0x-1x buffing class]

As melee DD, I suggest DRG since it will be strengthened upon A Realm Awoken release (12/17/2013), but until then it's the same (I am only WHM so I don't know perfectly which is the best Limit Breaker)

Hm, 4man farming is a bit slow, don't you think?
You can get 4 BLM/BRD to raise your dps. Carrying people implies a much slower battle.
