    Synth/Craft Guide Part 2: Suggestions/Feedback

    So part2 of the guide is under way and this post can serve to hold all the feedback and ideas about what needs to get included. Keep in mind a lot of stuff was covered in part1 (20 pages) so basic stuff won't be covered again.

    Currently Intended-

    effects of food (going to be doing bigger data sets this time, 100/100)
    new abilities tested - perfection , high return and others
    topics on risk
    topics on rank changes (rank spread as you grind the same item how sometimes it's easy/ sometimes its hard)
    testing mag craft again ( some mh tests)
    anatomy of progress(dealing mostly with 70% progress on)
    testing some risk based abils
    Getting more into the economic and material differences between DOH classes.

    feel free to add anything that comes to mind. I cant promise i'll add everything but ill certainly read them.

    Edit- Few people have already hit me up in game.

    -Added item definitions( what parts materials decorations etc actually refer to and how they pertain to specific abilities in terms of performance)
    -Orb sparking mid synthesis
    -Benchmarks on nq vs hq parts, performance outcomes of making parts with these material types.

    - performance test on craft heavy sets vs. control heavy set vs. balanced set for grinding ( +5 ranks up or more)

    Great job with the first one! I would like it if you could put in more info about the various crafting abilities

    Will do, actually a lot of people are helping me on the next guide. more data sets, more explains etc.


    - just an update so people know where i'm at, looking at about 2-3weeks or so before part2 is done(will post when its polished up).

    Thanks Alzelia, are you on Bodhum? At the moment help mostly refers to storage of materials and outcomes. So many people wanted specific items tested this time around that i basically tossed around the suggestion to provide and store the materials for things they wanted tested over and above to what i had planned(went over pretty well).

    As for doing the data sets ( batch tests) i prefer to do them myself. Not that i don't trust peoples methods, but i guess if I'm going to write stuff as factual i feel better knowing its first hand observation.

    Ahh cool, well the best help you can provide (and this is actually very helpful) is ask questions/ provide topics that i haven't covered or haven't covered in depth enough. The downside to being more along with crafting ( by no means the best on my server or even an expert) is that i can easily gloss over or miss things that are obvious concerns to people starting out might have.


    got a really good one last night from a peep in game- effects if any of using support on items that don't need support (pretty sure it doesn't but i'll give it a go)
