So as someone said in the other thread, what reason do people have to not just drop the CT run after they get their piece of loot? (other than not being an asshole, but let's be honest there are a lot of assholes out there)

Loot might not drop until the last boss is killed, which would be a simple solution to that.

I love this game. Played in 1.0 when it was horrible. Got all of my classes to 50 in 1.0. The biggest selling point of this game was that you could be all classes on one character. However, it's obvious based on the artificial myth cap (which by itself isn't horrible) and the1 week lockout for loot in Crystal Tower, makes having multiple classes on one character THE WORST PART of the game. So you're telling me I have to stick to one job and one only to be able to gearup with myth and now crystal tower? Fine you can do 2 if the content patches are spread out, but that just means if you're dedicated and enjoy multiple classes, you ahve to pick one and leave the others behind.
Tell me this, what is the incentive to go back to Crystal tower if I got my drop the first day. Yes, I can help FC members, but I'm beholden to 16 other people I don't even know on whether we beat the content.
It's obvious that YoshiP and the team are artificially trying to keep the "balance" between casuals and people who have more time. They dont' want someone who plays 5 hours a day to have multiple gear sets for many classes while casuals can only have 1.
This is so disapointing to me beyond words. As the biggest YoshiP fan, he has failed on this BIG TIME!!!!

It's like Titan HM, most FCs run titan for their members every week, on top of PuGs and DFs. It will still be done, even then. Because people "care".
It does, but face it, it's an MMO, they want to stretch out some content. I mean that's why we only get 300 myths at the moment.
so we have to beat all the EM primals to lot on 1 item? like we have to beat them all every time we want to lot an item?



Of course. 'Cause people who gather don't actually want to keep gathering right? Gods forbid people want to do anything but fight all the time!
Honestly, what is this hate towards gatherers. Give us maps that let us find special gathering nodes.


What if you can sell the maps? If you're solely gathering, then I doubt you're crafting the materials anyway, so it would be no different than that.
What would special gathering nodes give, anyway? Additional unspoiled nodes would have a negative affect on the market and right now and there isn't really anything new to gather...
