In the market wards, there will be a wanted board and a selling board. This is where the magic happens. Let's say someone wants a pair of black leather jackboots and they want to pay 2000 Gil for it. They can post this on the job board with their character name, what they're seeking, and what they're offering. A passerby can "take the order" and they will have 1 hour to fill it (or longer). Once it's ready, they can send their moogle to deliver the item. If a player is online, a message will sprout up saying "Order complete (click for details)." If a person is offline, when they return, they will be notified of a completed order.
I think in this way people will be able to sell their goods very efficiently, and those crafting can have some good ideas on what to do to gain exp, as well as branch out and seek items from other wards.
This same concept can be used for repairs. You can tell your moogle to place an item up for repairs in the market wards. There will be a "Repair Board" where people can take the order and repair it. Your moogle will then bring it back to you when it is repaired.
Basically my idea is that you can summon your moogle form anywhere in the world (similar to ffix), tell it what you want it to do, and send it off to do it. People will still have to travel to the market wards to view the market boards, but to sell items, store items, seek items, or seek repairs, this is all done through moogles and a delivery system. Someone, make it happen.
